National law firm Cobbetts has made 11 partnership promotions after making a number of changes to its partnership structure. Earlier this year the firm created the new roles of variable equity partner (VEP), with 10% of the partner?s remuneration based on the practice hitting its budget, and assured equity partner (AEP), where earnings are based entirely on points.
